The big event takes place on 22 – 25 February.
The University is represented by Deputy Director for Academic Affairs of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies Andrei Teryokhin and Specialist of the Section for International Admissions of the International Office Olga Baklanova.
The Expo features 143 institutions from 12 countries, including several from Russia. The attendance is expected to be in the vicinity of 30 thousand.
“There are many high schoolers and students at the expo. They show interest to our programs and ask questions about enrolment and life in Kazan. The young people get surprised when they find out that we have mosques and halal products,” shares Ms Baklanova.
The Kazanites have shown videos from KFU’s Day of Indonesian Culture, which really stunned the booth visitors by its scale and involvement of Indonesian students.
KFU’s stand has been visited by local University alumni and by the Ambassador of Russia to Indonesia Lyudmila Vorobyova.
At this moment, there are 71 Indonesian students enrolled in the university.
