The Modern Group specializes in construction for educational institutions. It has overseas branches in United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and other countries. The group’s current interests also comprise agriculture, media, pharmaceutics, and petroleum chemistry.
The two sides discussed areas of potential cooperation, including joint graduate programs in medicine, petroleum industry, and engineering.
The Modern Group is also interested in opening a preparatory course and a KFU branch in Cairo. The branch may specialize in general medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, physical therapy, and nursing care.
The group also showed much attention to KFU’s medical simulation business and is willing to buy some simulators for itself. Another sphere of planned collaboration is advanced medical research, in particular, genomics and stem cells.
