Rector Ilshat Gafurov and President of NAEK Gani Beysembaev conducted a video conference on 29 September.

They were joined by Vice-Rector for Education Timirkhan Alishev, Director of the Institute of Psychology and Education Aydar Kalimullin, and Counsellor to the Rector for International Cooperation Linar Latypov.

“We’d be glad to cooperate with the Academy, an institution which supports multifaceted development of the educational system, taking account of best global practices,” said Dr. Gafurov.

He then spoke about KFU’s model of teacher education and invited Gani Beysembaev to join the International Forum on Teacher Education in 2022.

Mr. Beysembaev emphasized that cooperating with KFU is a very promising endeavor, “The Academy has ties with various educational institutions and concentrates their experience and innovations to effectively introduce new ideas into practice.”

The sides agreed to discuss links in more detail soon.

At this time, KFU has cooperation ties with 24 organizations in Kazakhstan. Furthermore, it supervises the Qayum Nasyri Center, a Tatar language and Tatar culture center in Eurasian National University (Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan).
