A delegation from the Qingdao University of Technology (People's Republic of China), headed by the president of the university, Mr. Tan Xusen, visited SPbGASU on 6 September. The delegation also included Zhou Hongyan, director of the International Affairs Department, and Sun Haitao, director of the Financial Department.
During the visit, the Chinese delegation met with representatives of the SPbGASU management. The parties exchanged information about the universities, discussed directions for the development of mutually beneficial relations and signed a cooperation agreement.

According to Svetlana Golovina, the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China have always been linked by ties of strategic partnership. At present, the concept of further cooperation between the two countries - "Plan-2030" is being developed at the level of heads of states. Its special part will be devoted to education, science and culture.
Svetlana Golovina said that SPbGASU traditionally pays great attention to the implementation of scientific and educational projects with Chinese universities. The university has signed cooperation agreements with the Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Henan University of Urban Development, Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology. Cooperation provides for a wide range of areas: the implementation of joint educational programs, academic exchange of teachers and students, holding joint summer schools, scientific and technical developments, holding conferences, expanding the laboratory base and much more.
