Today, members of the delegation headed by the Party Secretary of Xinjiang Branch of Chinese Academy of Sciences Chen Xi visited Seifullin University.
In addition to the Chinese delegation, the meeting was attended by a member of the University Board – Vice Rector for Science and Innovation Ismail Tokbergenov, Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment Dani Sarsekova, Director of the Department of Science Timur Savin, Director of the Department of International Relations Saltanat Meiramova and other scientists.
The parties reported that work will be carried out to improve the capabilities of scientists with advice on the development of agricultural science of the two countries.
In his speech, Rector Kanat Tirouov introduced the guests and expressed gratitude to the Party Secretary of the Xinjiang Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Mr. Chen Xi and other guests. He also said that he would provide maximum support to the ongoing work in the direction of bilateral cooperation.
The party secretary of the Xinjiang branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Mr. Chen Xi, earlier underlined the importance of scientific projects in the direction of cooperation with Seifullin University and assured that the work will continue and scientists will exchange ideas and cooperate with each other.
"We have been cooperating with your university for about 10 years. The first direction is agricultural science and Big Data Center. The second direction is landscape and forestry. Our work will not stop on these two directions. That is why we invite you and your scientists to a large gathering of scientists of the world, which will be held in Urimshi in August," said Mr. Chen Xi.
The parties expressed confidence in the continuation of work in the field of Science and Agriculture and promised to further strengthen cooperation.
Summing up the meeting, Rector Kanat Maratovich warmly accepted the invitation, thanked the guests and noted that he would definitely take part in a large meeting of Urumshi.
