On the afternoon of March 14, Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA) and Belarusian State Economic University (BSEU) held a cooperative meeting online. LI Junqi, Member of the Standing Committee, CPC Committee and Vice President of the BUCEA, Morozevich Olga, Vice-Rector of Belarusian State Economic University and related personnel from the International Development Research Institute (IDRI) and the School of Urban Economics and Management attended the meeting, which was hosted by JIANG Jie, Executive Dean of IDRI, BUCEA.

LI Junqi first thanked Vice-Rector Morozevich for her strong support for the cooperation between the two universities. He mentioned that based on the signing of the framework cooperation agreement, both sides would give full play to their respective advantages, integrate relevant resources, carry out practical cooperation focusing on inter-university visits, short-term exchanges of teachers and students and joint training of students, and establish a regular communication mechanism. He also conveyed that he looked forward to achieving positive results in the meeting, so as to accelerate translating cooperation intention into the implementation of projects, enhance the internationalization and promote the high-quality development of the two universities to a new level.

Morozevich said that BSEU attached great importance to the cooperation and exchange between the two universities and sincerely invited the leaders, teachers and students of BUCEA to visit Belarus and deepen communication and cooperation. The participating representatives of BSEU mainly included the heads of the faculties of International Economic Relations, Economics, Marketing and Logistics, Law and other departments with English-taught programs. She believed that the joint training program for students around the above-mentioned advantage majors can open a new chapter of cooperation between the two universities and contribute to the joint development of both sides.

On the same day, the two sides had an in-depth exchange and discussion on the cooperation of short-term exchange programs for teachers and students, such as mutual recognition of credits and joint training of students in majors of Business Administration and Law, international summer school and Chinese language training.

It is reported that in February this year, BUCEA signed a framework cooperation agreement with BSEU.
