They were invited by Rais (Governor) of Tatarstan Rustram Minnikhanov to familiarize them with local industry and culture.
Among the itinerary points was a visit to KFU and a Q&A session with students and educators.
The meeting was joined by ambassadors of Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Brunei, and Malaysia, as well as representatives of diplomatic missions of China and Myanmar.
Vice-Rector for International Affairs Timirkhan Alishev accompanied the guests and talked about KFU’s priorities and international cooperation.
The Q&A session touched upon topics of future employment, academic exchange, and international relations.
On the same day, 17th April, the diplomats met with Rustam Minnikhanov and discussed issues of trade, investment, and cooperation with the Islamic world.
