On September 2, Maria Antonia BROVELLI, Professor at Politecnico di Milano in Italy and Director of International Joint Laboratory of Safety and Energy Conservation for Ancient Buildings, Ministry of Education, visited BUCEA. YANG Jianwei, Vice President of BUCEA, met with her, accompanied by LI Aiqun, Director of the Joint Laboratory among other relevant staff.

YANG Jianwei expressed welcome to BROVELLI on behalf of BUCEA. He noted that the International Joint Laboratory is the first of its kind at BUCEA approved by national ministries and commissions. It is also the only MOE international joint laboratory established by a municipal university in Beijing. He looked forward to the successful implementation of this cooperative project.

BROVELLI thanked BUCEA for the warm reception and expressed a desire to use the Joint Laboratory as a platform for applying for joint international research projects between Chinese and foreign governments.

An academic exchange activity was then held at the Joint Laboratory, where faculty and students engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges.
