简介/Brief Introduction:
内蒙古建筑职业技术学院是自治区唯一独立设置的建筑类高等院校。先后被确定为首批“国家示范性高等职业院校”、首批高职院校单独招生试点院校、全国高职院校教学诊断与改进试点校、国家优质校、首批1+X证书制度试点院校和国家“双高计划”建设单位。学校现有生态和新华两个校区，占地面积1161亩，建筑面积25万平方米，教职工622人，全日制在校学生近9千人。
学校紧密对接土木建筑业、交通运输业高素质技术技能人才需求，拓展装备制造业、现代服务业专业领域，重点在智能建造、绿色节能、市政路桥、特种设备、消防安全、航拍测绘、生活服务、文化传媒等技术领域布局专业（群），形成“四梁八柱”的专业对接区域产业架构，现有国家级高水平专业群1个、自治区级高水平专业群2个，已建成国家级重点专业6个、自治区级重点专业20个，在保持建筑类专业优势特色的基础上，各专业群相互支撑、协调发展，被誉为自治区“培养建设人才的摇篮”。
Inner Mongolia Technical College of Construction (IMTCC) is the only independent college of construction in the autonomous region. It has been identified as one of the first "National Demonstration Vocational Colleges", one of the first "Pilot Colleges for Independent Enrollment", "the national Pilot College for Teaching Diagnosis and Improvement", "the national quality College", one of the first "1+X Certificate System Pilot Colleges" and the construction unit of the national "Double High-Level Plan". The college has two campuses, Ecological campus and Xinhua Campus, covering an area of 774,000 square meterswith a building area of 250,000 square meters. There are 622 faculty members and nearly 9,000 full-time students.
The college closely connects with the needs of high-quality technical talents in the civil construction and transportation industry, expands the professional fields of equipment manufacturing and modern service industry, and focuses on the layout of professional fields (groups) in intelligent construction, green energy saving, municipal roads and bridges, special equipment, fire safety, aerial surveying and mapping, life service, cultural media and other technical fields, forming a "four beams and eight pillars" professional docking regional industrial structure. There is 1 national high-level major group, 2 regional high-level major groups, 6 national key majors and 20 regional key majors. While maintaining the advantages of architecture majors, the professional groups support each other and develop in a coordinated way. The college is known as "the cradle of architecture talents" in the autonomous region.
