莫斯科罗蒙诺索夫国立大学（俄文：московский государственный университет имени М.В.Ломоносова，МГУ），全称“莫斯科国立米哈伊尔·瓦西里耶维奇·罗蒙诺索夫大学”，简称“莫斯科大学”，于1755年由沙皇俄国教育家米哈伊尔·瓦西里耶维奇·罗蒙诺索夫倡议并创办，是俄罗斯联邦规模最大、历史最悠久的综合性研究型高等院校，欧洲顶尖、世界著名的高等学府，国际公立大学论坛、欧洲首都大学联盟、欧洲大学协会成员。

莫斯科大学是俄罗斯拥有独立自治权的大学，其《治学章程》由俄罗斯大学教职工代表大会研究制定，而学校校理事会理事长（校长）级别相当于俄罗斯联邦国家教育部部长。

莫斯科大学诞生了13位诺贝尔奖得主，6名菲尔兹奖得主。2022QS世界大学排名，莫斯科大学位列世界第78位。2020年莫斯科国际大学排名世界第21名。

Brief Introduction:

Moscow State University, the first Russian University founded in 1755 on the initiative of Mikhail Lomonosov, an outstanding scientist of the Enlightenment, whose unsettled encyclopedic mind and energy gave the inner impetus to the project. From the very beginning, elitism was alien to the very spirit of the community, which determined the University’s long-standing democratic tradition. Students irrespective of their background have been always admitted to University to further become the renowned alumni – famous scientists and scholars. And the students convene here, as they have always done, to study, to research, to push at the frontiers of knowledge.

Today, the emphasis is on advancing the applied science: new materials, genetics, biomedicine, pharmaceutics, cognitive sciences, ecology, and information technologies. They work hard to preserve the heritage and develop the traditions of a comprehensive approach to higher education and science. Moscow University has a rich academic history. Yet the major commitment remains the same as it has been in centuries: to provide outstanding teaching, scholarship and research. But what makes the University so lively is this intellectual spirit combined with inexhaustible curiosity.
