索非亚土木建筑及大地测量大学位于保加利亚的首都索菲亚。学校建立于1945年，最初为国立高等技术学院，在1953年学校改名为高等建筑工程学院，在1977年改名为高等建筑和土木工程学院。学校在1995年7月21日由国民议会通过决议升级为大学，在2001年11月15日以高度评价获国家验收，保期5年。索非亚土木建筑及大地测量大学现在是一所高等技术学府，设有本科，硕士及博士学位的课程，现有学生3800多名。索非亚土木建筑及大地测量大学具备现代化的教学设备及优秀的师资力量。学校的目标是向世界各地的学生们提供符合欧洲标准的高质量教育课程以及培训。索非亚土木建筑及大地测量大学设有土木建筑系，大地测量系，建筑工程系，交通建筑系，及水利工程系，专业课程包括：建筑学，都市建设，测量学，供水及污水处理学，灌溉与排水工程，水利工程，结构工程，交通运输工程等等。
Brief Introduction:
The Sofia Institute of Civil and Geodesy is located in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. The school was founded in 1945, initially as the National Institute of Advanced Technology. In 1953 the school was renamed the School of Advanced Architecture and Engineering, and in 1977 it was renamed the School of Advanced Architecture and Civil Engineering. On July 21, 1995, the school was upgraded to a university by a resolution passed by the National Assembly. On November 15, 2001, the school was highly appraised and accepted for five years. The Sofia Institute of Civil and Geodesy is now a higher-level technical institution with undergraduate, master's and doctoral degrees and more than 3,800 students. The Sofia Civil Building and Geodesy University has modern teaching facilities and excellent faculty. The school's goal is to provide quality education programs and training that meet European standards to students around the world. Sofia Civil and Geodetic University has a Department of Civil Engineering, Department of Geodesy, Department of Architectural Engineering, Department of Transportation and Architecture, and Department of Hydraulic Engineering. Professional courses include: Architecture, Urban Construction, Surveying, Water Supply and Wastewater Treatment, Irrigation With drainage engineering, hydraulic engineering, structural engineering, transportation engineering and so on.
